I got to spend July 4th this year in the Philippines, with the musicans of Cirque du Soleil's show Varekai. You'd never know it from this picture but there was a torrential down-pour going on outside the grand chapiteau while we were installing and playing with MAT. That's me at the keyboard demonstrating the interface for Musical Director, Denise Rachel and the sound crew. We got things up and running and with a little bit of practice, Denise ran the show with it the following night. So now two Cirque du Soleil shows are using MAT; KA in Las Vegas and Varekai which is a touring show.

Head of Sound, Jay "JP" Pennywell and Assistant Head of Sound, Roy Cressey run a tight ship out there and I really gotta thank them for the incredible hospitality and accommodations during my trip.
